Here’s what you’ll need:
- Pencil
- Paper
- Crayons, markers, or colored pencils
Here’s what you do:
- Ask your child to draw a large fish and cut it out.
- Have him trace the fish onto other sheets of paper and cut them out. (There should be at least four large fish when he is done.)
- On the first fish, have your child write, “Fish swim in the ocean. By (Your child’s name).”
- Repeat this theme on the other large fish using different ocean animals. For example: “Seagulls fly over the ocean.” and “Crabs crawl across the sand near the ocean.”
- Staple the fish pages together (with the first fish on top) and let your child illustrate each page once the book is done.
Picture book suggestion:
- Animals in Summer
