What’s My Costume? (ages 5-10)

Here’s what you’ll need:

Here’s what you do:

  1. On the top of a sheet of white paper, ask your child to write, “My Halloween costume is…”.
  2. Under this phrase, have him write down words that describe his Halloween costume. For example, he may write, “orange”, “fat”, and “soft”.
  3. Ask him to draw a picture of his costume on a separate sheet of paper. Staple the picture under the list.
  4. Ask your child to read the list to another person who does not know what his costume is.
  5. Have the person guess what your child’s costume is based on the describing words.
  6. After the person guesses, have your child flip over the sheet of clues to show the answer.
