A Clean Self-Image (ages 4-10)

  1. Spring is a good time to “clean up” self images along with the house.
  2. Ask your child what he likes about himself.  Write, “I like that I am ___.”
  3. Try to keep his answers more about who he is instead of what he looks like.
  4. After your child has finished several sentences, ask him to reread them.
  5. Put the list on the refrigerator or in your child’s room so he can reread it whenever he wishes.
