Good Neighbor Day (ages 3-adult)

The fourth Sunday in September is Good Neighbor Day.

Here’s what you’ll need:

Brainstorm all the safe ways to be a good neighbor with your child.
Try to do at least one thing on your list for one of your neighbors. (Remember to teach your child to be safe around strangers!)

Here are some examples:

Write a nice postcard with your child and mail it to a neighbor.
Let your child write a thank you letter to a neighbor who has been especially thoughtful over the years.
Rake the leaves or mow the grass for a neighbor who is going through a difficult time.
Make a meal for a neighbor and ask your child to deliver it with you.
