Silly Alliterations (ages 5-10)

Here’s what you’ll need:

• Paper
• Pencil

Here’s what you do:

1. Write down several names of family members and friends.
2. Next to each name, brainstorm words with the same first letter as each person’s name.
3. When your list is complete, make up a funny sentence for each person, using the words written down for that person.

For example:

• Steve -  silver, sweater, slippery, snake, stolen“Steve’s silver sweater was stolen by a slippery snake.”

Picture book suggestion:

• Lilly’s Purple Plastic Purse

  Publisher: Greenwillow
