Keeping the Earth Clean (ages 5-18)

Here’s what you’ll need:

Here’s what you do:

  1. Discuss with your child what would happen to the world if no one picked up trash or if all the rain forests were gone.
  2. Write down the days of the week on a sheet of paper.
  3. Next to each day, let your child write down something that your family can do to protect trees and keep the earth clean.
  4. Place this list in a place where the entire family can see it.
  5. With your child, encourage your family to try to do something every day to keep the earth clean. (Examples: recycling, picking up trash when you go for walks, or riding a bike to a nearby store instead of driving.)
