Here’s what you’ll need:
- Paper
- Pencil
- Scissors
- Crayons, markers, or colored pencils
- One paper bag
Here’s what you do:
- Ask your child to write “Baby names” on a paper bag and decorate it with pictures of baby animals.
- On a piece of paper, write down sentences that have animals with have different baby/adult names.For example:
- A baby goat is called a kid.
- A baby dog is called a puppy.
- A baby goose is called a gosling.
- Cut out each sentence and place it into the bag.
- Ask your child to pull out a sentence and read it aloud to you or another family member and make the sound that animals makes.
- Repeat this until all the sentences have been read.
