Here’s what you’ll need:
- Letters of the alphabet (upper and lower case)
- Handmade ABC cards (index cards work well) or plastic magnetic letters (the kind you can stick on the refrigerator)
Here’s what you do:
- Say to your child, “Bring me the letter _!
- Ask him to bring you the letter that you called out. (Your child does not have to hand you the letter if your hands are full. He can show you the letter(s) and then put it back in the pile or on the refrigerator.]
- If your child is working on his spelling list, ask him to spell the word on the refrigerator.
- Repeat this activity until all of the letters have been called.
